An Interfaith Ministry That Cares

The Ministerial Alliance of North Amityville and Vicinity (MANA) convened the first meeting under its new administration. The president, Pastor Roy S. Kirton, revealed his plan to transform the region. President Kirton included a program to deal with gang violence, church unity and domestic violence. The Alliance is the largest pastoral group of its kind in Western Suffolk and represents churches of various traditions and ethnicities. The vision statement for the Alliance is "Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of Peace."
