Soul Winners Set to Storm the Beach
at Seaside Heights
Getting people fired up to warn the lost about the fire to come! Do you really enjoy talking to the lost? Do you avoid talking to the lost because it makes you really uncomfortable? If you answered yes to either question this is the event for you!
Hundreds of people from all over New Jersey are about to receive a very special and unexpected surprise on Saturday, July 11, and Saturday, Aug. 15 while visiting the boardwalk at Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Seaside Heights on this sunny afternoon and into the night, residents and tourists will also be able to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ preached open-air, distributed through gospel tracts, and articulated clearly through one-to-one from the lips of hundreds soul winners. The goal? To saturate the area with the Good News.
The two events, Jersey Fire 2009, will begin with training in biblical evangelism provided by Author and Evangelist Mark Cahill on July 11 and the Dean of The School of Biblical Evangelism, Mark Spence on Aug. 15. Mark Cahill (markcahill.org) is author of One Thing You Can't Do In Heaven. Mark Spence is the celebrated Dean of a worldwide online school led by Evangelist Ray Comfort and former child-star Kirk Cameron of the award-winning Christian TV program, The Way of the Master (biblicalevangelism.com) After training, the attendees will hit the boardwalk to put what they learned immediately into practice. The event is expected to draw hundreds.
"We may have to have two trainings in one day as opposed to one in order to accommodate the overflow," supposes Pastor Andrew Rappaport of Chinese American Church and Striving for Eternity ministries, the event sponsor. Even those who are painfully shy will learn how to witness.
Multiple ministries have joined in to support the event both now and in the past, including The Bridge FM, CHANGE Collegian Network (changeyourcampus.com), a ministry that trains college students to share and defend their faith on college campuses and local churches, plus the Great Commission Bible Church, a New Jersey church which focuses heavily on open-air outreach.
Jersey Fire 2009 is a Free event beginning at 2:00pm-5:00pm for training on Saturday, July 11th with Speaker Evangelist Mark Cahill and 2:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday, August 15th, 2009 with Speaker Mark Spence at Redeemer Orthodox Presbyterian Church located at 1600 Central Avenue in Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
