Sylinthia Stewart was pregnant with twins when her husband and others convinced her to have an abortion, FIVE TIMES. Only with God’s help has she been healed so that she can help stop the negative growth of African American’s in this country.

Gary Scarano: We're here to talk about African American females and abortion.

Sylinthia Stewart: I lost 5 children to abortion. My ex-husband manipulated me to go and they told me I would die if I didn't abort my children and I would not be able to take care of them anyway. Once I found out I had twins, I left the abortion clinic. I told my Husband I could not go through with it, but he kept badgering and belittling me until I finally gave in.

GS: You had more Abortions? Did you become more ‘comfortable’ with it after the first one?

SS: I had three more abortions…murders, but I became more withdrawn, it was too much to bear. I would never be the same after and it led to the ending of our marriage. The trauma a woman goes through abortion is life altering. She is never the same. She doesn’t trust (people), she is hurt and she can’t mourn a child she has chosen to kill.

GS: What is the mindset of African American women considering abortion?

SS: The lies woman are told are based on a selfish point of view. Things like: be concerned for your health, you need to finish your education, you don't need to be a statistic, you can't take care of a baby right now, you’re not ready for this. They are told “Abortion will bring down the crime rate since statistics show your babies will grow up to be criminals.” The stereotype is Black Women are more promiscuous and have more children out of wedlock, so they need to have abortions as a means of birth control. As a result, they strive not to be the stereotypical black woman with babies on welfare. These are the lies or the stereotypes the pro-abortions groups are telling Black Women.

GS: What would you say to a young black woman, out of wedlock, considering abortion?

SS: Adoption is a REAL option that needs to be offered more to the black community. Talk to your parents, talk to your Pastor. There is help out there; there are organizations that will help you. For example, a woman wanting more information should contact the Pregnancy Centers at 800-395-HELP or visit www.PregnancyCenters.org & www.BlackGenocide.org/links.html.

GS: After your 5 abortions, what changed?

SS: My life changed through Jesus Christ. I am now the woman God intended me to be, but I just don’t have the benefit of relationships with the children I aborted.

GS: You lost those children, but you are saving hundreds, thousands of others through LEARN.

SS: Yes, I’ve speak to many young women. They believe I don’t understand what they are going through. When I tell them my story…the walls come down.

GS: What would you say to a Black female that has had an abortion?

SS: I would ask her, how did you feel before your abortion? Are you happy, are you angry, do you sleep well, do you hear your baby crying at night? Gary, there are up to 50 different post traumatic abortion symptoms in existence. All women I’ve seen have at least 10 of these, and some have had 25 of these symptoms.

GS: How could she release these burdens?

SS: Deliverance comes from Jesus Christ and the Word of God. We take them through an 8-week Bible study to help them release their guilt. The Holy Spirit cleanses them so they can help others. Once Black women who have gone through abortion have been healed, they cannot sit back and let their sisters be devoured. You can’t get your children back in this life, but you help others save their children.

GS: A riveting story, Pastor Childress, you say this is a common?

Rev. Childress: In one year 683,294 African American Children were aborted. This is larger then the entire Black population of Atlanta, GA; Oakland, CA; and Washington DC combined! For every 2 pregnant Black women, one will have an abortion. The Black population in the US now has negative growth. For every couple, we are averaging 1.97 babies. This even takes Black immigration into effect! The African American community is shrinking in the US.

GS: Why?

RC: Abortion has been successfully “sold” to the Black community. It has not been opposed enough by the church, but change is taking hold and the African American community is now opening their eyes. Please visit www.BlackGenocide.org, and www.LearnInc.org

Editor's Note:
What is happening in the African American community is also happening in the Hispanic, Caucasian, and Korean communities. This is only one story of thousands that is happening today worldwide.
